The CAN is a web portal that connects applicants to multiple nonprofit organizations, simplifying their search for help and support. A single profile puts individuals in touch with local and national program partners aligned to the individual’s range of needs. The system maintains the audience’s history of assistance, making future requests easy to locate.

The organization strives to provide an environment that is diverse at all levels, where all CAN Portal members and professionals are fairly represented. Users not only can request assistance and communicate with a diverse set of providers, but are able to securely store, share and digitally sign documents. The CAN Portal features self-management tools from personal finance to action planning.

The CAN is HIPAA compliant, ADA compliant, highly secure and the membership is always free of charge to applicants.
